☕ A HUGE SHOUT-OUT TO CAFÉ EDDIE’S AND OUR AMAZING TEAM! ☕

Wow — what a day we’ve had at Café Eddie’s! 🎉

We are incredibly excited to have a brand-new coffee machine, along with a fantastic range of illy coffee products — illy espresso, illy decaf, the proper cups and everything we need to serve you a truly great cup of coffee. ❤️☕

And it wasn’t just about the new equipment — our team also enjoyed a full day of professional barista training with illy, learning the skills to make every coffee we serve even better.

A very special shout-out and enormous THANK YOU to Naomi and Mariana, two of our wonderful trustees, who have fought hard to make sure Café Eddie’s has the right equipment to help our café and our team thrive. 👏❤️

Good morning from Cafe Eddie’s! ☀️🍕

It’s Friday, and we’re really excited to be welcoming some special guests from the Cambridgeshire Down Syndrome Community Network today.

We’ll have around nine young people joining us for a fun pizza-making session. Together we’ll be making our own fresh pizza dough, creating a delicious homemade pizza sauce, and choosing plenty of tasty toppings. As always, we’ll be thinking carefully about food hygiene and allergens so that everyone can take part safely.

And of course… the best part of the day will be sitting down together to enjoy the pizzas we’ve made! 😋

Thank you, as always, for supporting Cafe Eddie’s. Your support helps us create opportunities like this, bringing people together, building confidence, developing new skills, and having lots of fun along the way.

It’s Thursday… and you know what that means… it’s Scone Day at Cafe Eddie’s! ☕🧁

Fresh out of the oven today we’ve got all your favourites:
🫐 Fruit scones
🤍 Plain scones
🧀 Cheese scones (and let’s be honest… who doesn’t love a cheese scone? Especially with some crispy bacon!)

✨ This week’s special is something a little different… our Tiramisu Scone! Made with rich espresso coffee and a splash of amaretto flavouring, then finished with a dusting of cocoa powder. It’s everything you love about the classic Italian dessert in a freshly baked scone.

Pop in for coffee, cake and a warm welcome. We’d love to see you!

🎙️ Why not have a listen to us on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire this morning during the Foodie Thursday feature?

We had such a wonderful time visiting the studio. The team at the BBC were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home… even if we did arrive with two boxes of freshly baked scones and all the trimmings! 😄

A huge thank you to everyone at BBC Radio Cambridgeshire for giving us the opportunity to share the story of Cafe Eddie’s and the fantastic work our co-workers with learning disabilities do every day.

🎉 What a day we’ve had here at Cafe Eddie’s! 🎉

Today was our first ever completely sold-out Scone Thursday, and we couldn’t have done it without all of you.

A huge thank you to everyone at Cambridge Innovation Park and to all of our wonderful customers who come back week after week to support us. Your encouragement means the world to our team.

Our Breakfast Scone was an absolute hit and went down a storm! Don’t worry if you missed out – we’ll definitely be bringing it back very soon.

👀 A little sneak peek for next Thursday… Our special will be a delicious Chocolate Brownie Scone – rich, indulgent, and not to be missed!
