We are pleased to announce we have now reopened our former garage as a family run, garage themed café!

Autumn is coming. That means only one thing; Café Conversations are back 😃💬
We kick off welcoming Steve Cropley back who will be chatting to the guys from
The trust will also be showing rare films recently saved onto a digital format, celebrating the history and spirit of Rootes 📽️

The event is on Thursday 15th October. Doors open at 6:30pm for a 7pm start.
As usual, food and drink will be available 😋

We recently had a lovely visit from Always great chatting to Norman about his past experiences and to hear about his latest charity ride raising awareness and money for Dementia UK .

The event is called Ride to Recall. The idea being to ride 81 miles (Norman is 81) and celebrate by donating at the end of the ride. Of course anyone can donate without riding to support the charity by following the link in our bio 🔗

Norman is pictured gifting a signed photo of his World Record run in 1972 setting the time for the fastest sidecar outfit, reaching a speed of 161.8 mph ☺️

Important Road Closure Update 🚨
Please see the notification from Severn Trent below concerning closure of the Warwick Road.
If you are coming from Wellesbourne please take care and use the Lighthorne Road or follow the diversion that eventually leads you to Bridge Street.

Message from Severn Trent:
From today Friday 21 August, the temporary traffic lights will be removed, and a full road closure will be installed. The Closure will begin after the Junction of Bridge Street. After thorough review the decision to continue this section under a full road closure has been made as we have seen instances of safety concern with speeding vehicles, traffic lights not being used and equipment being moved. It is our priority to assure safety of the team and everybody around while we work and closing the road gives this assurance. We kindly ask that vehicles are not parking in the working area.

Roadwork Update 🚨
We are very pleased to report that both Banbury Road and Banbury Street are open 🙌☺️

There are three way traffic lights at the junction of Warwick Road, Banbury Street and Southam Street (by The White Swan), controlling the access to the three streets.
Hopefully this will make your journey to the café a lot easier 🤞
