"Why come to this presentation on Identifying Your Needs for all round Wellness?
As a wellbeing coach and trainer (and formerly a hospital doctor) I am passionate about helping clients develop personalised strategies that:
optimise their lifestyle,
maintain their effectiveness in their career,
preserve their wellness.
I’ve noticed that the current culture has lead many of us to feeling like we are:
Always in the ‘on’ mode
Constantly in a state of relentless ‘doing’
Worrying about not getting it all done
Having to prove ourselves
Persistent episodes of low-grade stress have a cumulative effect on our physical and mental wellbeing. We risk exhaustion, burnout, relationship problems and ill health.
But how many of us recognise the signs or know how to stem the tide? How many of us leave it till it’s too late and then pay the price?
In this presentation I will introduce you to the concept of your identifying and understanding your Needs based on four different pillars of health; physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual.
I’ll point out the distinction between real needs and things you might think are needs (but actually aren’t!)
Finally I’ll explain how to create your own personalised ‘Needs Creed’ which will act as your guide to ensuring you get your needs met to remain the best version of yourself – at work, at home and at play.
Previous clients and workplace teams who have received this training have gained new insights and put processes in place which have really helped improve their wellbeing.
