👋🏻𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗧𝗼 𝗦𝗮𝘆 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗯𝘆𝗲 👋
𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥'𝘴 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘰𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘰𝘶𝘵!
𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒂 & 𝑮𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒕𝒉 are calling it a day at The Red Lion next 𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒚 12𝒕𝒉 𝑶𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒃𝒆𝒓 and moving on to pastures new (in Altrincham) after (exactly) 4 wonderful years here.
We've poured our heart and soul into the pub and (we think) taken it to a great place but we're handing over the keys to the next people to take it on to the next level.
We cannot thank all of you enough for the kindness you have show us in this time and you have welcomed us and our family into the community with open arms.
There's been ups and downs but we are confident that we have left the gaff in a better place than we found it. We only ask that you please show the same kindness to the new managers, 𝙎𝙩𝙚𝙥𝙝𝙚𝙣 & 𝙅𝙖𝙠𝙚 when they take over and help to pub flourish!
We would also like to thank all the wonderful and dedicated staff members we have had in this time. Their hard work, smiles and friendliness, even during those chaotic sunny World Cup game days has been the reason this place has been such a great place for people to meet, chat, dance, scream, celebrate, commiserate and in some cases....linger a little too long. I won't name them all but please know, we appreciate all your hard work and will miss you. If we could pinch you, we would! ❤️❤️
In the meantime...were having a little farewell party this Friday 9th October so say our goodbyes and thankyous and each and over person is welcome to pop along...just not too many or I'll have to work. DJ Dan (chef Dan to most) will be spinning the decks and we're hoping the odd person comes along for a little dance.
Once again...THANKYOU to each and every one of you and we won't be strangers.
