It’s September. The kids have barely gone back to school. Nobody needs Mariah Carey yet.

HOWEVER…

While a few of you have been grumbling about us mentioning the C-word, everyone else has apparently been BOOKING THEIR CHRISTMAS PARTIES. 👀😂

The bookings are already flooding in and, if last year taught us anything, the best Thursday and Friday dates will disappear FAST.

So no, we’re not putting the tree up.

No, we’re not playing Christmas music.

There’s just something about getting everyone around the table on a Sunday.

Kids, grandparents, mates, the whole family. Plates everywhere. Gravy being passed around. Someone claiming the last Yorkshire pudding. Nobody in a rush to leave.

That’s exactly how we wanted Sundays at Vandal to feel.

Sweet, soft squash loaded up with punchy buffalo sauce, cool creamy ranch and crisp celery.

Hot. Tangy. Creamy. Crunchy.

All those filthy buffalo-wing flavours, just without the wings — and somehow it works ridiculously well.

The name tells you pretty much everything you need to know.

BBQ pork. Heritage slaw. Smoked garlic mayo. Crispy onions. Soft brioche.

Sticky, smoky, crunchy, creamy and gloriously messy.

This is absolutely not a knife-and-fork situation. Pick it up, squash it down, accept that the sauce is going everywhere and enjoy yourself. 😂

We know. It’s cauliflower.

But trust us on this one. 👀

Roasted cauliflower, coronation mayo, golden raisins & Bombay mix.

Creamy. Spiced. Sweet. Crunchy. Salty. Ridiculously moreish.

The cauliflower gets all those gorgeous roasted edges, the coronation mayo brings the spice, little pops of sweetness from the raisins and then a serious handful of Bombay mix over the top for crunch.

It’s chaotic.

It shouldn’t work this well.

It absolutely does.

Creamy burrata.
Red w**e poached pear.
Toasted walnuts.
Hot honey.

Sweet. Salty. Creamy. Crunchy. A little bit sticky. A little bit spicy.

Basically, all the good things on one plate.

This is one of those dishes where every bit is lovely on its own… but get a little burrata, pear, walnut and hot honey together and THAT is the bite. 🤌

New to the menu and already firmly in the “we’re absolutely ordering another one of those” category.

Come hungry. Order loads. Share everything.

(Although we’d completely understand not sharing this one.) 😏
