Pane all’Aglio: the starter that’s finished before the menus have been collected. 🧄

Stone baked garlic pizza bread, blistered at the edges and topped with melted cheese. It comes plain, with tomato, or with cheese – pictured: the correct answer.

Garlic level: memorable. Bring someone who’s also having it.

Linguine ai Gamberoni: the reason the fork twirl was invented. 🦐

King prawns in garlic and chilli butter, tossed through linguine with a roasted shellfish sauce, courgette, cherry tomatoes and parsley. A little heat, a lot of prawn, and a sauce you’ll be chasing round the bowl long after the pasta’s gone.

Anatra al Forno: the Sunday roast that doesn’t check what day it is. 🍷

Oven roasted duck leg on dauphinoise potatoes, with red w**e jus, prunes, pancetta, cherry tomatoes and spring onions. Rich, sticky and completely unhurried – the kind of plate that makes you sit back a little.

Comes with a small, quiet sense of having made the right decision.

Pollo Milanese: the dish that ends conversations at the table. Politely. 🍝

Breaded chicken breast, fried until it properly crackles, then topped with a generous tangle of spaghetti in tomato sauce. Crispy underneath, saucy on top, and somehow every forkful gets both.

Technically one course. Emotionally, two.

Italian food done properly in Upton Scudamore, just outside Warminster. Midweek treat, Sunday saviour, or the reason you’re late back from lunch – all valid.

Some things just belong to Christmas: fairy lights, a warm room full of people you love, and a proper Christmas pudding to finish the meal. 🎄

Ours is rich, dark and made the traditional way, served with a generous pour of brandy sauce and a scoop of vanilla ice cream melting gently into it. It’s the kind of dessert that makes the whole table go quiet for a moment, then reach for one more spoonful.

You’ll find it on our Christmas Party Menu, running from 30 November to 24 December (2 courses £32, 3 courses £39, with 15% off festive lunches Monday to Friday), and on our Christmas Day Menu on 25 December at La Campagna Upton Scudamore, just outside Warminster. Slow-roasted turkey stuffed with chestnuts, served with pancetta-wrapped pigs in blankets, slow-roasted potatoes, winter vegetables, bread sauce and a rich port gravy that brings the whole plate together. It’s hearty, warming and made with care, so all you have to do is pull up a chair and enjoy it.

Our Christmas Party Menu runs from 30 November to 24 December (2 courses £32, 3 courses £39, with 15% off festive lunches Monday to Friday), and on Christmas Day itself we’re open for our five-course Christmas Day Menu — all at La Campagna Upton Scudamore, just outside Warminster.
