Well that was good fun! WARLSTOCK - thanks for having us. After the last pint was poured, we finally got a chance to let our hair down! 🕺🍻⠀

A huge thank you to all the organisers, volunteers, musicians and everyone who came along and made the day so special. It was an absolute pleasure for Ales On The Green to sponsor the event and be part of such a brilliant community day.

🎶 WARLSTOCK is TODAY! 🎶

We're proud to be supporting Warlstock at Warlingham School today from 12pm–8pm!

🎟️ Tickets are still available on the gate: • Adults – £10 • Children – £5 • Family Ticket (up to 5 people) – £25

Expect a full day of fantastic live music, great food and, of course, we'll be there with the Ales On The Green beer tent serving refreshing lager, pale ale and a selection of delicious bag-in-box ciders. 🍻

It's a brilliant community event and all in support of the school. On a personal note, Ash was once a student here, so it's especially nice to be back and able to give something back to the place that helped shape him.

If you're looking for something to do today, come along, enjoy the music, support the school and say hello!

Our pre-loved record section has had a little refresh! 🎶

🕺 A dedicated 45s section.

If you'd like to hear a record before buying, just ask one of us behind the bar and we'll happily pop it on for you.

Best of all... every single record on the shelves is from a completely fresh batch of arrivals, so even if you've had a good dig before, there's loads of new treasures waiting.

We've filled our new bottle & can fridges with loads of great options, whether you're after something familiar or fancy trying something new.

That's a wrap! 🍻

Our refurbishment is officially complete, and we're back open from 12pm today. We can't wait to welcome you back and show you the refreshed space – complete with a brand new toilet and a back room that's finally fit for purpose!

A huge thank you to Party Pete, Leo, Julie, Jakki, Pete and Jamie for everything you've done to help us through the closure. We genuinely couldn't have done it without you.

Warlingham, you drunk us dry with about 15 minutes to go! A HUGE thank you to Nick at Shepherd Neame for sorting us out with the incredible equipment. Thanks to Jakki and me-Julie for putting in a killer stint on the bar this afternoon, the queue was nonstop. Shout out to Warlingham Events for having us. Every time we're trusted with running the beer tent at a community event, we feel incredibly grateful. With every event, our roots seem to grow a little deeper in this wonderful community. And finally congratulations to Warlingham Rugby Club on winning the tug of war! 💪⠀

🍻 A quick reminder that you can catch us this Saturday at the Warlingham Fair! 🍻⠀

We're so happy to be running the beer tent this year and have teamed up with our pals at Shepherd Neame to bring something a little bit special to the fair. We'd love to see some familiar faces while the pub is closed! Come and say hi ⠀

As for the refurbishment... we're pleased to report that things are progressing well! 🔨⠀
⠀
The new windows are in and will make a huge difference to ventilation. The shell of our second toilet is now taking shape, complete with new brickwork and window, while behind the bar we've upgraded to a new 6-line keg font across the front, added three hand pulls and installed a new remote cooler in the cellar. ⠀

Our new bottles and cans section is coming together really nicely, and the inside of the pub has now been sanded within an inch of its life, ready for a cool effect to be added on! ⠀
⠀
We're really happy with the progress being made and can't wait to share the finished result with you all. We miss seeing you all, but we're so confident the improvements will be worth the wait and help make Ales an even better space for out community.⠀

The time has come for a little refresh. We'll be temporarily closing Ales to carry out some exciting improvements to the pub, including a second toilet, additional seating, more keg lines, improved airflow and a host of other upgrades and tidy-ups. Before we do, we're going out with a bang!⠀
