🎄❤️ Our little Christmas Day tradition
For the last four years, we’ve made it our little tradition to do something special for someone in our local community who is spending Christmas Day alone.
This year, we’re asking our customers, friends and locals if they know an elderly person who has had a particularly difficult year, perhaps someone who has been struggling with their health, lost someone they love, or simply finds themselves alone at Christmas.
We choose one person and get in touch with them beforehand. They can choose what they would like to eat from our three-course Christmas Day menu, just like any other guest. On Christmas Day, we pack it all up and bring it to their home together with our two little girls❤️.
The girls absolutely love this tradition and look forward to it every year. For us, it’s not just about taking someone a lovely Christmas lunch. It’s about being present for someone who might otherwise be alone.
🎄Do you know an elderly person who you think would really appreciate this?
Please comment below and we will send you a private message. We’ll get in touch with you for a few more details. There are no pictures taken, no publicity and no posts on social media on the day. We just want to make someone happy on Christmas Day.
Sometimes Christmas isn’t about how much you can give - sometimes it’s simply about being there 🎄🎁🙏
