You must have spotted these big boards up on the wall in our Restaurant!

But did you know that the boards were originally the A Board that stood proudly outside The Groom when Bob and Caroline took the pub on back in 2018?!

They were on their last legs by 2020 and during the lockdown, Bob & Joe turned them into a little project - they sanded them down to their original wood, gave them new boards and now they home pump clips of beers we’ve had on our pumps over the years!

Some beers that don’t exist anymore, some breweries that don’t exist anymore, some are old clips that have since been rebranded, some were limited edition and some are today’s favourites!!

But each one is a memory of time gone by and part of the history of The Groom!!

The more you know eh??!
