Just a brief note to say how much we enjoyed last evening’s visit to the Fox. The food was superb and as ever was much enjoyed by all. We’re constantly amazed by the variety offered on the impressive specials menu. Our guest commented that the Chicken Cobbler was absolutely delicious. Your skill and repertoire know no bounds.

With the general hubbub in the bar area, there was also a lovely cheerful atmosphere last evening. Congratulations to all involved for making our visit so enjoyable. We can’t wait ‘til our next visit.

We've got some lovely fresh Haddock so we can do an offer on fresh fish and chips tonight. We've also got some great specials on at the moment including some beautiful fresh plaice, some winter warmers like bangers and mash or chicken casserole.

X 2 takaway for £20 (cheaper than the local chippy)

Though we’ve visited the Fox many times and always enjoy the excellent food, we have run out of superlatives to describe the Somerset Pork we had last evening.

The tender pork was plentiful and the sauce and diced apple enhanced the wonderful flavour. The creamy melt-in-the-mouth dauphinoise potatoes were a perfect complement to the pork.

As you can see we thoroughly enjoyed last evening’s visit and congratulate those who prepared this superb dish.

It won’t be long before we’re back again'

Room to rent, not for permanent living but available as a cheaper alternative to going through the likes of Airbnb.
Shared flat with other professionals above the pub. We have various people renting rooms from the likes of Willians F1 and other local companies who use it when working locally but live to far to commute.
Shared lounge, small kitchen and bathroom. All comply with fire regs so lockable fire doors and detectors in the room. Non smoking.
Discount on food while staying.
Rent is weekly on a rolling two week pattern.
Come and go as you please and leave your belongings here when you go home for your days off.
