We’re getting a (literal) facelift!

From next week the front of our pub will be getting a lovely scratch-down and repaint thanks to our amazing pals at It’s part of a bigger project to make your fave local even more brilliant. Furniture upgrades, new wall artwork, digital darts and a shiny new floor are all on the cards but instead of shutting and ruining everyone’s week we are doing in in stages and keeping the pub open :)

It’s been a bit overdue but as we’re sure you can all understand it’s a big undertaking so we’ve been waiting for the right moment.

There will be a slightly icky scaffolding up for a bit but make no mistake we are VERY open :)

Let’s go naughtylunch

Several of our new menu items we describe as “kids meals for adults”. Pubs are all about having fun, putting the brakes on life’s restrictions and letting yourself go wild for a few hours. So our food menu makes sure that all bases are covered in that department.

This is our wings and strips combo, bringing together our famous in house buttermilk cajun chicken with mesquite smoked bbq wings. These are garnished and served with our house bbq and garlic mayo. That said we’ll let you swap the dips for anything else you want like blue cheese or ranch (shh, don’t tell the boss).

Everything in moderation, sometimes 😉

Head Chef Jordan is modelling his favourite bottle from our fridges - Howies Peach Cider.

This cider is a perfect balance between crisp apple, gentle aromatic peach and a subtle natural sweetness. It’s light at 3.4% and spritzy as heck, where the bubbles dance all over your tongue 💃

We have over 10 fruit ciders here at the pub, ranging from bottled to traditional cask. Pop in over the weekend and try some!
