Bringing a piece of history back to life is really something special 🐅

While working on a pub built in 1938, we uncovered something truly special today— the original floor, hidden beneath years of wear and layers of time.

There’s something incredible about peeling back the years and discovering the beauty that was there all along. Rather than replacing it, we wanted to restore it, preserve its character, and bring it back to life.

After a lot of care, patience and hard work, that original floor is once again coming to life and showing off its true beauty.

It’s more than just a floor — it’s a little piece of the pub’s history, something that has been walked across for generations and now will have a new lease of life.

1938 → 2026. Nearly 90 years of history, restored for many more to come. 🐅 our next generation will have there own stories to tell in the future on a floor there ancestors once walked on.

There’s something special about restoring the old rather than simply replacing it.

As Jamie and myself keep taking little bits out we keep finding something beautiful within the building.

We’re so excited now the renovation is underway.
