Part of the upcoming changes at The Table means that, sadly, we’re saying goodbye to a few members of staff: Ray, Brad and Dan. 😢💛
This is really sad news to share, but we are so grateful for each of them and everything they’ve brought to The Table.
Dan has supported our kitchen team on an ad hoc basis for a long time, and has helped us through many tight spots. He’s always been willing to get stuck in, whether that’s in the kitchen, during a deep clean, or doing the less glamorous jobs that still really matter. Thanks Dan, we’re so grateful for you!
Brad has been our Kitchen Manager for the last year and has seen us through multiple menu changes, our EHO inspection, and plenty of busy, stretching seasons in the kitchen. We’re really grateful for all the food, graft and care he’s put in. Our squash orders will probably go down dramatically without him, and we’re not sure anyone has ever measured a glass of squash with quite the same precision.
And last, but absolutely by no means least, is our Cafe Manager / Operations Manager, Ray.
Ray has been with The Table for over two years, and it is honestly impossible to put into words the impact she has had on The Table as an organisation, on the team as a whole, and on so many of us individually.
Ray is the kind of person who gives herself wholeheartedly to everything she does. She serves and leads with compassion and love, puts other people before herself, pours into people wholeheartedly (no pun intended!), and has been a huge support to so many people here at The Table.
It is a big sad, but we know Ray has amazing things in her future, and you all better be watching out, because she quite literally is a force to be reckoned with.
We are all so grateful for the impact Ray has had on our lives. She really was the most deserving winner of the La Marzocco Barista Hero Award, and I know so many of our customers, regulars, staff and volunteers love her and will miss her deeply.
Please join us in showing Ray, Brad and Dan some love in the comments, and feel free to share any stories of how they’ve positively impacted your life.
Big love to all three of you. You’ve each been such an important part of The Table.
