A Wandering Christmas is back for 2026!!! 🎄🎄🎄

We will be serving up our delicious three course Christmas menu on the evenings of Friday 11th and Saturday 12th of December. ✨

We got some great feedback last year for these events: "Delicious food, great service and a lovely relaxed atmosphere." They make the perfect opportunity for a small work do, family get together or social group shindig. 🧑‍🎄

We have reduced the amount of dates this year, as we didn't fill all our dates last year & we need the events as full as possible to make them worthwhile. But if we get inundated with demands, we will add further dates. And if you have a group of 30 of more, we can open up other dates for your group. 🍾

Our next special event at the WK will be on the evening of Halloween 🎃!

We will be joined by storyteller and ghost enthusiast Jo Carnegie, who will be telling us some local ghost stories around the fire (if it's not too warm). She will then open the floor to hear your spooky tales!!!

*The bar will be open for this event selling hot,cold & alcoholic drinks, as well as savoury snacks and cakes. Our hot food kitchen will be closed.

It's fish and chips Friday!!!

Every Friday lunch time we serve up fish and chips. Available from 11:30am - 3:30pm. Or whilst stocks last!!

We started serving fish and chips during lock down. We did take away nights (who remembers)? And people would come and sit in their cars in the car park, eat their fish and chips and look at the lake. At the time this was the equivalent of a night out!!!

We are always eternally grateful to those who ate with us during those times!! And the fish and chips are still going. See you for lunch!!!

Summer 2026 you were fabulous!!!! 🌞🌞🌞 Thank you to everyone who visited us, partied with us and made this summer fabulous.

Our container kitchen is now closed until May 2027, but the café is open daily all year round, so you don't need to miss us!!

We had such a good time at our medium night last Friday, that we are doing it all again!!

Sharon will be returning in December to offer heart felt messages to the audience, by connecting to spirit and guiding you to your highest self. We are never what is going to come through but on Friday we had laughter, tears & messages about knickers. ✨

We will also have private tarot readings and crystal sales, so that you can amplify your energy at home. 🔮

And to make it a full evening of nourishment for the body and soul, the WK bar will be on hand to serve cold/hot/alcoholic drinks as well as sweet and savoury snacks. 🍰

Happy 1st October!! Or Gilmore Girls season for all that celebrate!

🎃It's time for our cosy season!! We haven't quite got the fire on yet, but we are preparing for it!!

👻This autumn, we are putting on some fab and a little bit spooky events, including our ghost stories at the lake event and our next medium night.

🎂We are celebrating our birthday next month, with a bingo night!! Chris our amazing quiz host, is changing hats and putting on a bingo night for us, cash prizes to be won and a best of WK menu!! You could boost your Christmas budget, with a cheeky little bingo win.

📝And we have two more quiz nights in 2026, one this Saturday (3rd Oct), a couple of tables have just become available (please call 01865 346568 to grab one). And the last one of 2026 will be on 7th November. Edit: The October quiz is now fully booked

We are very excited about announcing our first (hopefully of many) stories by the fire event.

On Halloween night, we will be joined by author & ghost enthusiast Jo Carnegie. Jo will take us on a journey of local ghost stories, weaving in your own spooky tales and maybe a few spooky goings on that have happened right here at Queenford Lakes.

What to expect: an atmospheric evening of story telling, whilst drinking a delicious WK hot choc/glass of prosecco & slice of cake. With a sprinkling of spookiness!!! 🐈‍⬛🎃✨
