Wow. What an absolutely amazing weekend. It’s been great, you guys have been the best. Thank you so much to Bunkfest, every artist on our line up, the brilliant Bunkfest fringe team and the amazing sound engineers that joined us on Friday night. We rest today, but celebrate the third and final Bunkfest with our manager Emily. We’d like to give a special mention to our favourite artists who showcased some amazing talent with us this Saturday evening. We chose to curate our own programme on the Saturday to keep these guys in the mix! So let’s run it back…

Saturday 5th Sept -
2-4 - The Annie and Hugh duo joined us for the first time for the perfect Saturday afternoon jam.
5- 6:30 - Hipbone Slim (Baldy) know us well, and us them. Their classic rock and roll and audience engagement is always a hit at Shellfish Cow.
7 - 8 The Loose Rats. These guys have developed their sound and their band tremendously over the last couple of years playing with us and we were so so so happy to have them with us last night. From Braziers Park just up the road in Ipsden, they are certainly ones to watch.
9-10 ?? Ish 10:45!! The Candy Theives, our firm favourite, their front runner Shiv is a wonderfully beautiful musician (and now good friend of ours) that brings such an energy that is so infectious and just amazing. A joyous band that we absolutely love to have playing with us. And we know you guys love it too.
Last but not least. DJ Giles, who came out the woodwork for us tonight. Great guy with and even greater record collection. Giles has always supported us for the get go and we couldn’t be more greatful.

And a special shout out to our bestest friend in the world Blizz for supporting us technically, emotionally 🤣 and all the other ways for as long as I’ve been around here. He’s just great and a big part of the furniture round here.

Bunkfest is a hard working weekend for our small team and everyone has really pulled out the stops from head chef pulling pints to our KPs and waitresses pulling enormous shifts. It’s been wild and they’ve been great.

A long and soppy post, but we love you all and hope to see you next time.

Bunkfest is back in Wallingford this weekend, and we’ve got plenty going on at Shellfish Cow! 🎸🍾

Check out our Bunkfest music line-up in the picture — but remember, when you need a break from the festival crowds, our main restaurant upstairs will still be open as usual.

Take a breather, find a quiet corner and treat yourself to some of our fresh shellfish, fabulous seafood and dry-aged steaks. 🦞🦀🦪🥩

We still have some tables available, so if you fancy escaping the festival for a proper sit-down meal, we’d recommend booking your table.

Although we’ll be officially closed on Sunday, we’ll be opening the doors to friends and regulars for a farewell drink for our wonderful manager Emily, who is leaving us for her next adventure.
