Just to reassure people, I'm still tackling problems, solving them and hopefully will have some good news shortly. Its getting easier now I know the facts.

Small update.
I've got the pub licence back and started work restoring the pub.
Electrical work has commenced, new oil tank about to be installed ( we found sand and gravel from the car park in the other one)
Boiler will follow this month. Carpet is down in the bar area too.

I can't tell you when the pub will reopen, I have several interested parties. Once the required work is done we will have a better idea.

The Shepherds Tap (the Crook has left).
I'm now in possession of the pub, it's been gutted and obviously the community needs to know. There is a more detailed post coming on the village page.
I have notified authorities, this isn't the first time the leaseholder has done this. The pub is actually in a good state despite what happened.
Please share if you could and rest assured I will be doing the right thing both now and moving forward.
