Westgate Rolls is a local favourite for hot and cold sandwiches, breakfasts, lunches, buffets, and business catering. Alongside our shop, we run mobile food vans that deliver fresh food directly to workplaces and sites across Wakefield.
The Role
We’re looking for a reliable Catering Van Driver to join our team. This role is hands-on and varied – perfect for someone who enjoys food, people, and being on the move.
Key Responsibilities:
Report to the shop each morning
Help prepare sandwiches, breakfasts, and lunch items
Load the food van with prepared items and stock
Drive a set route to businesses and sites around Wakefield
Serve and deliver food directly from the van
Maintain excellent hygiene, safety, and customer service standards
Requirements:
Full, clean UK driving licence (essential)
Friendly, reliable, and customer-focused attitude
Good timekeeping and organisational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Food preparation experience preferred (training provided)
