Apparently that’s a big one… so obviously I’ve decided the best way to deal with it is to close the kitchen and go and have a bloody good time 😂

Yes, I know… how very dare I close the kitchen to celebrate my own birthday! 🤣

You’ll find me partying, laughing, probably drinking something I shouldn’t and generally having far too much fun! 🥳🍾

Yes… before Facebook explodes, we’ve increased the price of 2 items on the menu. That’s it… just 2! 😂

We still genuinely believe we’re offering great value for money, and one thing you’ll never hear me say is, “I hope they leave hungry.”

In fact, one of my biggest fears is that someone leaves here still peckish… so I might have gone a bit overboard with the portion sizes! 🤣

The funniest complaint we’ve had so far?

“There was too much food!”

I’ll happily take that one all day long! 👍😂

So if you leave needing a lie down instead of raiding the biscuit tin when you get home… my job’s done. 😜

We’ve got an amazing Reggae artist live from 9pm, plenty of drinks flowing, good vibes, and absolutely no judgement if you’re still dancing like you’ve had one too many. 💃🕺

Well… now we’re finally back in the swing of having the kitchen open again, I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to every single one of you who chooses to come and eat with us. ❤️

It genuinely means the world.

Everything that comes out of our kitchen is homemade, so yes… sometimes there might be a little wait. But I’d rather make it properly than rush it, and I can honestly say every meal has a bit of my heart and sole put into it.

Today you’ll find me hidden away in the kitchen getting the next batch of our homemade pies ready… 🥧

And if you’re lucky (or unlucky 🤣), you might even catch Macca/Carl attempting to make the pastry for me. Pray for us all… if the pies come out square, you’ll know why! 😬😂

Thanks again for all your support, your patience, and for keeping us busy. We honestly couldn’t do it without you. ❤️

I’ve only gone and booked RICKY SHEENAN (Singer & Comedian)! 🎤🤣

If you saw him last time, you’ll know exactly why I’m so excited… the bloke had everyone in stitches! 😂

Don’t miss it… because if it’s a disaster, I don’t want to be the only one there to witness it! 🤣🎉

This year… I (Toni) turn the big 4️⃣0️⃣!! 😳🎉

Apparently my 30s have packed their bags and are leaving me… so it’s only right we give them the send-off they deserve! 😂🍻

A huge thank you to everyone for bearing with us while the kitchen has been closed this week. ❤️

As if things weren’t challenging enough, we’ve had another little setback… one of our freezers decided it had had enough! 😭 Typical timing!

The good news is we’re busy cooking, prepping and restocking everything over the weekend so we can be back where we belong.

🥕 Sunday - Our homemade Sunday Carvery will be back as planned.
🍽️ Monday onwards - It’s full steam ahead with our full homemade menu.

We really appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding and support over the last week. We can’t wait to welcome you all back and get back to doing what we love. See you soon! 😊

Sometimes life has a way of reminding you to slow down.

I’ve always said that if I couldn’t give the kitchen 100%, then I wouldn’t open it. I never want to serve food unless I know I can give it the time, care and attention it deserves.

This week has been one of those weeks. I’ve had a few personal things to deal with, and rather than opening and closing the kitchen throughout the week, I felt it was only fair to press pause for a little while.

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. It really does mean a lot. We’re just taking a moment to get ourselves back into a routine, and before long we’ll be back doing what we love most – serving up our homemade food.

On a brighter note… our new menu covers have arrived, and we can’t wait for you all to see them! 😀

Thanks again for sticking with us. See you all very soon. ❤️
