QUIZ CANCELLED: Sorry folks 💚

Evening all, our beer and wine delivery truck broke a wheel, waited two hours to get it repaired, then returned to the depot about 5 minutes ago! So, despite Dans best efforts attempting to drive and meet them, we have Neck Oil and Guinness, but no other draught beer and minimal wine this evening. So I thought it best to leave the quiz this week, but the next ones only a week away….

Good morning all, sadly we’re unable to open the pub today as planned at 12pm, as it seems all of the electricity to the cellar and bottle fridges has vanished!! Currently waiting for Heineken to send me an engineer (1-2 hours) then with a bit of luck we will be up and running. We can’t believe it ourselves and we love you all so much for your continuing support 💚

Regrettably we have decided not to open this week on Monday 1st or Tuesday 2nd, to allow us to repair the damage upstairs after the water leak! We’re extremely sorry but needs must - open Wednesday as usual with our new menu….💚 We’re so grateful for your continuing support and can’t wait to see you again 💚

Having, thankfully, survived the internal tsunami, and thoroughly cleaned and dried out, we are happily open for business as usual! Come join us, we are so grateful for all of your continued support 💚🍺💪🏻

Good morning folks, we have woken up to what was a fairly serious water leak last night/this morning, from upstairs in the pub spare bathroom.
This has flooded through the ceiling and knocked out half of downstairs’ power, meaning we simply can’t open. On the hottest day of the year. Im honestly lost for words.
We’re currently dealing with 1 plumber, 1 drainage “expert”, 2 electricians, mops and floor drying equipment.
Wish us luck, any would be bloody lovely, apologies for letting you down, we will keep you posted. Dan and Simone 💚😔
