Regrettably we have decided not to open this week on Monday 1st or Tuesday 2nd, to allow us to repair the damage upstairs after the water leak! We’re extremely sorry but needs must - open Wednesday as usual with our new menu….💚 We’re so grateful for your continuing support and can’t wait to see you again 💚

Having, thankfully, survived the internal tsunami, and thoroughly cleaned and dried out, we are happily open for business as usual! Come join us, we are so grateful for all of your continued support 💚🍺💪🏻

Good morning folks, we have woken up to what was a fairly serious water leak last night/this morning, from upstairs in the pub spare bathroom.
This has flooded through the ceiling and knocked out half of downstairs’ power, meaning we simply can’t open. On the hottest day of the year. Im honestly lost for words.
We’re currently dealing with 1 plumber, 1 drainage “expert”, 2 electricians, mops and floor drying equipment.
Wish us luck, any would be bloody lovely, apologies for letting you down, we will keep you posted. Dan and Simone 💚😔

Morning everyone, we are currently waiting for a Heineken engineer to come and look at the cellar, as the gas has stopped working!!! Hopefully fixed very soon, check back here for updates, sadly until it’s back working we won’t be able to open. Unbelievable luck, we’re so very sorry 😔

Good afternoon everyone, sadly, our boiler hasn’t been happy all day and the pub just will not warm up….at all!!

We’re so very sorry, but we’re going to have to close up early at 5.00pm today, get an engineer in to try and cheer it up again and have the place toasty and cosy again for everyone from tomorrow at 12 as usual.
