Hey hey! How's your Monday been? I totally accept walk ins when I can and always will; I appreciate any business! However, with services such as Roast when it is possible for you to book a table, please do; this is how it helps me.........

*I can be far more prepared with food, this is so beneficial for me as a small village pub heading into Winter months, this can help me not cook food which then might get wasted or avoids me not cooking enough and people being turned away.

*Can help me order more savvy, let's not pretend the Winter isn't hard at Ringers (like many other pubs) some of you are so aware that some nights its literally me and Clive or Budgie, in an already struggling economy for many; every penny helps.

*Helps with staff, I am able to rota on more/less staff. Obviously as a small business I cannot pay for people who have nothing to do when they arrive at work, and it is unfair on them to be sent home after a couple hrs when they might have budgeted for a whole shift; on the other hand it can affect our service and waiting times when I haven't allowed for enough staff, I hate people having to wait to long, or my staff being under pressure.

Being honest, as I always am with you all........ hospitality is hard place it has been for a while, there are lots of costs I cannot control being tied to a brewery and trust me it isn't because I am making a load of money that I'm squirreling away.
This place for me has always been about keeping it open and true to how Ringers should be, a traditional pub that serves proper pub grub food, not an eatery that happens to be in a pub. We are literally the "Cheers" of Cornwall as to quote the theme tune
🎶 where everybody knows your name and they are always glad you came 🎶

Anyway standard Kirsty style I have rambled on, have tried to edit it to make it shorter but I can't, so if you have got this far well done! In essence bookings appreciated 🤣🤣🙈

Today I went for a little stroll to deliver a parcel that came to the pub by mistake. I don't normally walk that way and on the way back I looked up (at the point I took the photo) seen the pub and had a feeling of joy in my heart its mine.
It's hard to remember that joy sometimes in life, when you have had to cancel plans, want a day off, or just really can't see the wood from the trees.

Anyway today I'm encouraging anyone who is struggling to try and look at things from a different angle; it might just be the thing that makes you see the good 🩵
