In spite of a difficult year for the garden, these are cropping well. Grown from a few years ago, they have featured on the menu quite a bit this summer. As an whole small beans lightly steamed then tossed in olive oil with garlic salt, freshly ground white pepper and sea salt, then topped with a blue cheese mayonnaise with chopped savory and finished with a pinch of smoked paprika. Here in the picture, the larger beans have been sliced and are cooked with winter savory (which, incidentally grows best in the summer), and tossed with a little butter.

Brilliant review from a couple who needed to find somewhere special where they also felt safe to eat the food as one of them has and cannot tolerate wheat or gluten. They also managed to get down to visit the on two consecutive nights, which was an added bonus!
