The old star is a traditional pub that serves cask ales as well as the traditional lagers/ciders etc. The Pub houses live entertainment in the beer garden and inside during the winter on a Friday and Saturday. Please come down and have a look, all events will be published on the page.

BREAKING NEWS, AND ITS MASSIVE!!!!!

We are delighted to say, we have now sorted a full day of music for our charity fun day on Sunday 30th August.

12.45 until 1.45 Ant Beeston from the magnificent SOUND PARTY!

2.00 until 3.45 Chrissie Porter from the amazing HUMBUG!

These have both given up their time, free of charge in aid of the midlands air ambulance. We can not thank you enough you superstars.

Then from 5.00 until 9.00 we have the return of the ever popular COUNTRY DJ.

Face painting will be from 2.30 until 4.30 done by Angie from colourskids.co.uk

Raffle prizes have built up and we have some absolute crackers. £2 per ticket or £8 for 5 at The Old Star.

It is going to be a belter of a day, for a great cause. See you there. We are open from 12 until close.

We are also delighted to say that we have also got a 2 for £5 offer on a range of our bombs, mix and match. From left to right we have A Cherry Bomb (Disaronno and energy drink). A Jaffa Cake (Tia Maria and Orange Juice). A Jagerbomb (Jagermeister and energy drink). And A Creme Egg (Advocaat and energy drink).

FANCY A SHOT?? We are delighted to say we have added many more drinks to our 4 for £12 range.

You can still enjoy the Sombrero Mexicano with
Mango, Strawberry or Passion Fruit flavours mix and match or 4 of the same flavour.

We have added Sambuca with Classic, Liquorice, Raspberry, Banana or Apple flavours mix and match or 4 of the same flavour.

We have also added Fireball and Jagermeister to this deal.

And last but not least Baby Guinness.

Are you just starting out singing and want to get out there with some exposure? Are you established and just wanting to do your bit for charity?

We are looking for acts on Sunday 30th August for a charity fun day, that are willing to do it out of the goodness of their heart. We have 12.30 until 1.30 and 2 until 3 available before The Country DJ plays the rest of the day away.

We are also looking for a food vendor, free pitching available and just a percentage of your profits to go to the charity is all we ask.

We are expecting this to be a very busy day. It is in aid of the Midlands Air Ambulance in memory of the landladys mother, who sadly passed away this year. Details of the event can be found on our events page. Thankyou.
