DID YOU KNOW!?

Mint tea isn't actually a Tea? It is classed as an infusion. For any Tea to be named as such, it needs to have come from the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant. Any herbs (mint), fruits (raspberries) are classed as infusions!

Tea is less likely to cause a 'caffeine crash' in comparison to coffees? This is because the high levels of antioxidants present in Teas slow down the absorption of caffeine, allowing for greater periods of alertness without the 'slump' we can get when the caffeine wears off.

DID YOU KNOW!?

Fans of darker roasts maybe interested to know that, even though a darker roast tastes more bitter than a lighter, medium roast, they do contain less caffeine. This is something I was a little surprised by when I first started my coffee journey. Has this surprised you? Did you already know this? Let me know in the comments below!

SHOUT OUT!

I don't know about you guys, but I love the work many of these kickstarter campaigns have been releasing in the past few years from supplements to whole new systems. My current favourite system that I have backed since day one is SHIVER (). If you are someone who loves horror/pulp/ B - rated movies and are an avid TTRPG fan, then this is the system for you! Inspired by the 70s/ 80s vibe of horror movie, coupled with a unique art style, SHIVER is a fun, simple system which has some really cool mechanics to bring tension and suspense to the game!

Definitely one worth checking out!

Happy Tuesday! Something you may not know about me is that The Heroes Brew is not my full time day job. This is something I am building whilst working a full time job, which has been very full on recently so apologies for the lack on interaction on here!

I currently work as a research & development engineer for a company that manufacture medical devices. Tackling both at this moment in time is challenging however, I enjoy what I am doing and am extremely passionate about both!
