Sunday is upon us and we’ve been harping on all week about all our delicious new dishes ( still available 😜) but the traditional Sunday roast is a staple dish that doesn’t need much talking about
Succulent Roast beef , and all the trimmings
An extra homemade yorkie and unlimited gravy are served every Sunday here at the Urmston
With a chefs roast available also

Great beers available all day today 🤙🏼

Many Victorian beers were wooden barrel-aged for years. 🪵🪓

Before modern brewing technology, strong beers such as porter and pale ale could spend two years or more ageing in huge wooden vessels. Wild yeast and bacteria would continue working on the beer, creating flavours surprisingly similar to some modern barrel-aged and sour beers.

Today nearly all cask ales are fermented in steel barrels with much tighter control to improve consistency.
