If you're coming to the Winking man this afternoon the car park will look full, don't panic we have George and Kath Clowes celebrating 50 years of Clowes coaches in our function, pub is open as normal

People should really know the height of their vehicles before attempting maneuvers, this one drove straight through and didn't stop, I also have a part of the van which was knocked off, and before the neigh sayers start the height is clearly marked on signage.

I'd like to thank Steve Moore for standing in for our resident dj Dodge, he's done an outstanding job, last night was a bit quieter due to festivals again but he had the dance floor rocking all night including a bit of banter on the microphone and some tracks played which haven't been heard for a while.
Now fully recovered from his horrendous accident and few months ago Dodge will be back Friday 26th June our next rock night and our 23rd year of rock nights at the Winking man.
Thank you all for supporting our night which I started in June 2003 and can proudly say its been my baby from the beginning and has matured into one of the few rock night discos left now.
Long may it carry on.

We are open today bank Holiday Monday 12 noon until 5pm, last food order 4pm.
Its going to be warm so our beer chillers will be working hard
