Viva Cassava

Viva Cassava A proper Pão de Queijo (cheese bread) is a two-bite business: crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

We are bringing Brazil’s favourite snack to London: Pao de Queijo. Rita has been perfecting her secret family recipe for the last 15 years and now her son Pedro wants to share the delicious results with Londoners. Pao de Queijo (cheese bread in english) is crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It’s light, cheesily addictive and naturally gluten free. We serve Pao de Queijo with familiar toppings to add a British twist to this Brazilian classic.

Cassava is common place in Brazilian cuisine. Forofa, for example, is a toasted cassava flour mixture that resembles a light bread crumb.

But, perhaps a little more familiar in the west, cassava is also found in tapioca starch, which is used to make the chewy black pearls in Bubble Tea.
