To every person who has walked through our doors over the past 15 years: thank you.

DG Café will be closing permanently this Thursday, 21 May, and before we do, we want to see you one last time. Come in for a coffee, a tea, a slice of cake, or a muffin. Bring someone you love. Sit down. Let us look after you one final time.

We are proud of what this place has been for so many people. That is entirely down to you.

Freshly ground beans make all the difference—grind just before brewing for maximum aroma.

Use filtered water. Coffee is 98% water, so quality really matters.

Don’t rush it—brew time impacts taste. Too fast = weak, too long = bitter.

⚖️ Tip 4
Stick to the golden ratio: about 1–2 tablespoons of coffee per 180ml of water.

🌱 Tip 5
Store your beans in an airtight container, away from light and heat to keep them fresh longer.

🔥 Tip 6
Let boiling water sit for 30 seconds before pouring, it brings it right into that 90–96°C sweet spot.
