We have to admit, it’s probably just as well none of our female staff were on shift… there may have been a little swooning going on! 😂

Unfortunately for the lads they got Chris instead, who just so happens to be a massive cricket geek and talked their ears off 🤣

We’re looking for an experienced Front of House team member to join us at Shakey J’s Family Dining Limited

✔ Over 18
✔ Front of house experience essential
✔ Minimum 20 hours per week
✔ Saturdays & Sundays essential
✔ Opportunities for additional evening shifts during the week
✔ Flexibility to help with shift cover when needed preferred

The ideal person must be confident:
☕ Using a coffee machine
💳 Taking payments
🖥 Using an EPOS system
🪑 Seating customers & managing tables
📝 Taking orders in a busy environment

Above all we’re looking for someone warm, welcoming and chatty who enjoys being part of a busy family diner environment and helping create the friendly atmosphere Shakey J’s is known for.

A positive attitude, reliability and confidence with customers are really important to us.

🧗Many of our customers will know Jim — one of the loveliest people you could ever meet and someone who over the years has become much more than a customer to us… he’s become like family. ❤️

Jim is bravely taking on an ABSEILING challenge to raise money for The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre — a cause very close to our hearts and one that supports so many families across the North West.

Every penny raised helps Clatterbridge continue the incredible work they do supporting cancer patients and their families, and we would love if our wonderful community could get behind Jim in any way they can. Every like, share or donation will go a long way in helping Jim reach his target.
