When you have to start your life over again, don’t forget to find work wherever you are. ❤️💙🩵
I ran my mum’s restaurant for years while growing up. I knew all her suppliers and vendors. She would send me to them with the exact amount of money, and they already knew what she usually bought, so they would simply hand me the foodstuffs. I would hurry back to the restaurant to help prepare them, and all of this was after I had closed from school.

I had to help her because I was the only one who could at the time. I became the little “Nwanyị Nnewi” (that’s what everyone called her).
Fast forward 20 years later, I have moved abroad, and I noticed there is a gap in the African delicacy market in my county. So, I’m filling it. 🥹

I have done lots of businesses over the years. A food business was the least on my mind, but here we are.

In 2024 while I was on maternity leave here in the UK 🇬🇧 I took home to pro online cooking class and it was all worth it.

Ladies and gentlemen… Oge’s Kitchen is officially live in the United Kingdom! 🇬🇧🥳

Sometimes, life has a funny way of bringing you back to what has always been part of you. ❤️
