Scottish Mountain Bike Awards 2023 - THE SHORTLISTS!

The Scottish Mountain Bike Awards are a celebration of Scottish mountain biking and are a huge opportunity to showcase all that is awesome about our industry, the people and the sport.

Every year we are blown away by the nominations we receive across all categories, and this year is no different.

Many thanks to everyone who took the time to submit a nomination and many congratulations to those shortlisted. This was a tough job for the panels involved!

Tickets are still available for the Awards ceremony at Comrie Croft on the evening of the 5th October, from 19:30 - link to book tickets in blog.

Almost there…great job Cairngorm Mountain Resort

We're all looking forward to the arrival of mountain biking at Cairngorm Mountain. Work continues on the Bike Park, and the Lower Zone is almost ready for its first wheels!

We're giving biking enthusiasts the chance to experience exclusive taster sessions of the Lower Zone, at a reduced price, before the opening of the Bike Park. More information on our taster sessions and how to book a reduced ticket price will be announced soon.

Cairngorm Cycle Festival
Saturday 24th June
10am - 5pm
As part of a national celebration of the power of the bike and in the build-up to the 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships, Craic Events with support from Event Scotland’s National Community Cycling Fund are hosting the Cairngorms Cycle Festival a community cycling event based in Macdonald Highland Resort, Aviemore The festival will have cycle based activities, all of which will be FREE for everyone, inviting and engaging with particular focus on highlighting & utilising the numerous safe off road trails & routes in the Strathspey area.
“The Hub” based in Aviemore will be linked to surrounding Spey Valley village satellite events “The Spokes” to showcase & promote the existing cycle trails in the area. There will be cycle rides in to the event hub from the various locations while the festival hub will have activities/refreshments for all
