Today is the last day of regular opening hours and light lunches at the Rock Stop this year!

Thank you to all our visitors to the Rock Stop so far this year, and to all our incredible staff and volunteers who have been greeting everyone with a friendly welcome! Today is the last day of our cafe serving light lunches, but we’ll have the gift shop and exhibition open on Monday 14th from 12-4pm along with teas, coffees, some snacks and space to eat your picnics indoors. After that we’ll be taking a short break and then opening the gift shop and exhibition again on Tuesday 22nd September. Please check out our website for more information on opening times over the next few months.

Come and explore the beaches of Assynt and Coigach at the Rock Stop this August 🌊

For all of August, the Rock Stop is exhibiting “Portraits of the Edge: Beaches of Coigach and Assynt”. Take a closer look at the magnificent beaches here in the North West Highlands, and be inspired to explore them further, in this free exhibit of photography and poetry.

The Rock Stop Cafe and Exhibition is located one mile south of the Kylesku Bridge, and is open 10-4, Monday to Friday. The Cafe is serving hot and cold drinks, soup and sandwiches, and cakes. The North West Highlands Geopark main exhibition is also free to enter with interactive activities for all ages.

We will now be open Monday-Friday, 10am-4pm. Stop by for:

We will be reopening on Thursday 11th June. Opening hours this season will be Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm. We will also be open tomorrow from 12-4pm, for anyone who wishes to drop by for coffee & cake and visit the North West Highlands Geopark exhibition! ☕️🍰🪨
