Massive thanks to everyone who came down last night! 🍻⚽

What a great night of football. The result wasn’t the one we were hoping for, but the company, the laughs, and the atmosphere made it a cracking evening! 👏

Now… onto Tom. 🤣

Tom, Tom, Tom… I’m not sure how the bot bot is feeling today after insisting on chilli sauce for his hot dog 🌭. Problem was… we didn’t have any!

So, being the helpful soul I am, I knocked up a homemade chilli sauce… and let’s just say I may have got a little carried away! 🌶️🔥😂

Safe to say there could be a Hot Dog Chilli Challenge coming soon… if Tom survives to tell the tale! 😅

😂⚽ FOOTY AT THE SHIP, GREENODD! ⚽😂

As always, I like to put something decent on at half-time to feed the hungry horses… and as always, it’s completely FREE! 🍴

So far we’ve had…

🍛 Chinese Chicken Curry
🥡 Beef in Black Bean

…which have both gone down an absolute storm!

The only downside is… I always miss part of the game! 🤦‍♂️😂

It normally starts with…

“Where’s my favourite pan?”

Followed by…

“Has anyone seen my rice measure?”

Followed very quickly by me and the wife having a domestic over who moved it… 🤣🤣

Then, just as I’ve finally found everything and nipped upstairs to grab the rice…

England score! 🤦‍♂️😂

Cue me absolutely legging it back downstairs with a tray of rice, nearly ending up headfirst in the stairwell thinking…

“I’ve missed the goal, nearly falling down with a tray of hot food, and I’m still getting blamed for losing the rice measure!” 🤣🤣🤣

So… this Wednesday I’m making life easier…

🌭 FREE HOTDOGS AT HALF-TIME! 🌭

No rice…
No missing half the match…
No arguments over kitchen equipment…

And hopefully… I’ll actually get to see England score this time! 😂

If England make the FINAL though… all bets are off!

This morning we had the pleasure of welcoming a joint stag and hen party as they kicked off their Lake District tour the right way… with a few drinks and plenty of bacon buns! 🍻🥓

A fantastic group who got the celebrations started in style before heading off to enjoy everything the Lakes has to offer.

The quarter-finals are here, the pints are cold, and the Chinese Chicken Curry is back by popular demand! 🍛🍺

We did get a few reviews after the last game… not about the football… about the curry! 🤣🌶️

Let’s just say there were a few cases of “burny bum syndrome” the following morning… so we’ve been kind and knocked the heat down a notch this time! 😂

Served with rice and naan bread at half-time.
