🎄🎅 RIGHT… HERE IT IS! THE POST WE KNOW SOME OF YOU HAVE BEEN DREADING… CHRISTMAS!! 🤣🎅🎄

Yes, yes, we know… “IT’S ONLY AUGUST!” 😂 But Christmas Day at The Royal Oak takes some organising and we’ve already had plenty of people asking, so here we go!

❤️ CHRISTMAS DAY 2026 AT THE ROYAL OAK ❤️

This year we’ll be doing two sittings:

🎄 First Sitting — 1pm
🎄 Second Sitting — 4pm

🍽️ £79.50 per adult £29.95 per child (children’s menu available)

Christmas Day should be about spending time with the people you love — not peeling a mountain of spuds, juggling six pans, arguing over who forgot the stuffing and then facing a kitchen that looks like a bomb’s gone off afterwards! 😂

So let us take care of it.

Come in, get settled, enjoy your Christmas dinner, have a few drinks and let Team Oak do the cooking, serving and washing up. You just concentrate on having a cracking Christmas Day. ❤️🎄🥂

We’ve put together a proper festive menu with plenty of choice, and we’ll do everything we can to make Christmas Day at The Oak a special one.

A 50% deposit will be required to secure your booking! We will send across details via email

📝 All Christmas Day pre-orders must be with us no later than 15th December 2026. This gives our kitchen and front-of-house teams everything they need to make sure the day runs as smoothly as possible for everyone.

Places are limited across both sittings and, judging by the interest we’ve already had, we expect them to fill up — so please don’t leave it until December and then shout at us when there’s no room at the inn! 😂🎅

“CHRISTMAS?! IT’S BLOODY AUGUST!!” 🤣🤣🤣

Well… sorry guys, but THE DREADED FIRST CHRISTMAS POST IS GOING LIVE TOMORROW! 😂🎄

Before anyone starts throwing their flip-flops at us, we KNOW it’s early. We’re still trying to enjoy what’s left of summer ourselves! ☀️🍻🤣

BUT… we need to get organised because our Christmas parties and Christmas Day dinners tend to book up pretty quickly, and believe it or not, we’ve already had loads of people asking about them! 😳🎅

⚡ IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR WEDNESDAY ⚡

Hi guys, just a quick heads-up for this coming Wednesday.

There is a planned power cut in Spark Bridge for essential works, which unfortunately means we won’t be able to open at our usual time.

👉 We will be OPEN from 5pm on Wednesday and it’ll be business as usual from then onwards. 🍽️🍻

Today we say goodbye to one of our very own ❤️

Maya Paton has been with us right from the very beginning, over a year ago now, and has been such a huge part of our journey at the Royal Oak. From the early days, through all the ups, downs, chaos and everything in between, you’ve been there with us and we genuinely couldn’t have done it without you.

It’s always hard saying goodbye to someone who has been such a big part of the team, but we’re so excited to see what comes next for you!

Thank you for everything you’ve done, all the laughs, hard work and memories along the way. You’ll always have a little piece of the Royal Oak with you ❤️
