Happy Birthday to us! 🎉

Two years ago today, we (Lauren & Towfique) took a massive leap of faith and reopened The Piltdown Man. What followed has been an incredible journey of growth, hard work, challenges, laughter, and so many unforgettable moments.

With the support, passion, and dedication of our fantastic team, we’ve grown and developed day by day into a venue loved by locals and visitors from further afield. We couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve built together.

A huge thank you to our amazing team, who put their heart and soul into everything they do, and to every single customer who has supported us along the way. Whether you’ve popped in for a pint, brought the children to enjoy the play area, joined us for a Sunday roast, attended one of our tasting evenings, trusted us with your special events, invited us to cater in your home, or become one of our loyal Taste & Toast Club members — thank you.

You have all played a part in making The Piltdown Man what it is today, and we are incredibly grateful for every visit, every booking, every recommendation, and every kind word.

Two fantastic events are coming up at The Piltdown Man this June!

Saturday 13 June
Join us for an afternoon and evening of family fun with:
• BBQ in the garden
• Live music from Small Talk Cover Band
• Bouncy castle for the children
• Children’s play area
• Outdoor bar open
• Full pub menu also available

We’ve got two exciting events coming up at The Piltdown Man!

Join us in the garden for an afternoon of family fun with live music from Small Talk Cover Band, our BBQ fired up and serving delicious food, a bouncy castle for the children, and our popular play area open all day.

Fancy something other than BBQ? Don’t worry – our full pub menu will also be available. Plus, our outside bar will be open, so you won’t have to go far to top up your glass with a refreshing pint, jug of Pimms, wine, or your favourite drink.

Sit back, relax, enjoy the music, and let the kids burn off their energy.
