Good evening everyone!! This year our shop manager Emma is running the Great North Run for an amazing charity, Rett UK. Some people following us on here may know Eva (or as Mrs Hodgson from Kings priory!) and this is for her little girl Lysbeth who was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome aged 3 and how much this charity has already helped their beautiful family! JOB VACANCY – PART TIME

BARISTA & FRONT OF HOUSE POSITION

-Position is permanent part-time (not seasonal). Minimum 16 hours a week, including weekends. Extra work is available in seasonal peak times.

-Previous barista & hospitality experience is not essential, training will be given.

-A genuine interest in coffee/chocolate/food is essential! There is always a lot of tasting involved in our work.

-You must have the desire to deliver an attentive, high quality customer experience.

-Competitive wage and the opportunity to work with a great team, in a friendly working environment.

-Position is available for starting ASAP.

Due to the fact that our selection boxes only last 10 days as we use fresh cream and no preservatives, we have a "Christmas Delivery" option now available for purchases on our website. If you select this option at the checkout your order will be posted Monday 20th December using Royal Mails First Class service so the chocolates are as fresh as possible for the person enjoying them! Please note this option should only be chosen for orders which include our selection boxes and brownies as all our other products have a longer shelf life.

Good Morning all! ☀️ Apologies for the dead silence across our socials, it’s been a truly crazy time for us during all of the lockdown madness. We’ve been working hard on trying our upmost to keep things safe and COVID friendly as possible. This and also working on something new and exciting that will be coming soon! Today we are thrilled to be able to welcome you all back to sit in again which has been a long time coming... We aren’t taking reservations and are working on a purely walk in basis. Here’s to enjoying coffee in proper cups again!

We could tell you about how our ice cream is homemade. We could also tell you about the awesome ingredients we use, or how it doesn’t contain preservatives, and doesn’t sit in a warehouse holding freezer for several months.
But we won’t. We’ll just tell you that it’s back.

Banana Chocolate Protein Muffins!

To make you will need:

200g (2-3) ripe bananas
125g self raising flour
125g coconut oil (or salted butter)
Couple of pinches of salt
1.5 teaspoons baking powder
100g golden granulated sugar
1 egg
75g maple syrup
Half tablespoon vanilla extract
Two large tablespoons protein powder
Two tablespoons cocoa powder
Large teaspoon peanut butter
40g roasted chopped pecans

Bake at 150 degrees for approximately 25 minutes!!
