Plumber / Gas Engineer position available

Due to an influx of work, Apex Gas are currently hiring a qualified Plumber & Gas Engineer.

We have options for both:

Subcontractors: Great rates and a steady stream of immediate work.

Full-Time Position: Permanent role with a competitive salary. A company van & fuel card.

Requirements:

- Gas Safe Registered (preferred but not essential)
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent)
- Valid UK Driving Licence
- Reliable, tidy, and good communication skills

Subcontractors must have their own tools and van.

Notice to Our Valued Customers

We love serving our local community, but as a small independent business, stock inventory and unpaid items directly affect our ability to keep our doors open.

Unfortunately, we’ve recently experienced a number of instances—even with regular customers—where items were taken with a promise to return with cash, but payment was never brought back. Because of this, we have had to update our store policy.

Going forward, we can no longer allow unpaid goods to leave the shop under any circumstances.

If your card is declined or you need to fetch cash, we will gladly hold your items behind the counter for up to 1 hour while you pop to the cash machine. After 1 hour, uncollected items will be returned to the shelf.

We truly appreciate your understanding and your ongoing support of our small business!
