This is very true!! Please follow our instructions when transporting cakes in a car

“Why can’t I drive with it on the seat?”
“It’ll move around in the boot.”
“There’s no room in the boot.”
“I want to be able to see it.”
“But I’ve got a seatbelt on it…”

15 years of making cakes, and if there’s one thing I will forever say…
PLEASE DON’T TRANSPORT YOUR CAKE ON A CAR SEAT!
Every car seat has a slight incline!!

A seatbelt won’t magically hold it still. It’s a cake… made of sponge and buttercream, not a person. Every corner, roundabout and brake could send it sliding, tipping or collapsing.
The safest place is flat in the boot (or footwell if your boot genuinely isn’t suitable).

Trust me… I’ve seen things. 🤣
