Please note dogs must be on leads at all times. We offer great value, home-cooked food and also have two secluded beer gardens to the rear of the property. There is also free WiFi throughout the premises. We are located on the South West Coastal Path and are the perfect place to stop off whilst walking or cycling through. At the Boringdon Arms, we welcome loyal locals, along with visitors from further afield, serving a variety of beverages including 4 Real Ales with a weekly rotating Guest Ale. We also serve traditional Beer and Cider too. We have a wide range of 37 different Gins accompanied with 9 varieties of Fever-Tree Tonics, excellent for those wishing to experiment with a different taste.

We’re getting ready for this year’s Turnchapel Christmas Fair at The Boringdon Arms, and we’re looking for stall holders to join us! 🎅✨

📅 Saturday 28th November
⏰ 12pm – 6pm

If you’d like to have a stall, simply bring your own gazebo and set up on our terrace or in the b**r garden.

❤️ No pitch fee! Instead, we’re asking stall holders to make a donation to a chosen charity for their pitch, helping us spread a little extra Christmas cheer while supporting a good cause.

Funeral & Wake Arrangements for Trevor Ross

For those wishing to join us in saying a final farewell to Trevor, his funeral will take place on:
Friday 23rd October at 1:00pm
The Park Crematorium – Room 1
(Second car park on the left)

Following the service, everyone is warmly invited to join us back at the Boringdon Arms for Trevor’s wake, where we can come together to raise a glass, share some stories and celebrate the life of a man who will be very sadly missed by so many.

Please feel free to share these arrangements with anyone who knew Trevor and may wish to attend.

Rest easy, Trevor. We’ll make sure there’s a Chardonnay waiting — pinky up, of course. 🍷

🍴 KITCHEN CLOSED THIS LUNCHTIME 🍴

Just a quick heads-up that our kitchen will be closed this lunchtime, Wednesday 30th September, while we have our kitchen extraction ducting professionally deep cleaned.

🍺 The pub will still be OPEN as usual for drinks, and our kitchen will reopen for evening food service from 6pm–9pm.

We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding while we get this essential maintenance completed.

It is with a very heavy heart that we share the incredibly sad news that Trevor Ross has passed away.

Trevor wasn’t simply a customer of the Boringdon Arms; he was a familiar face, a friend, and very much part of the fabric of our pub and community. His presence, humour and character will be deeply missed by all of us who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Running a village pub means that customers often become far more than customers. You share conversations, laughter, stories and countless ordinary moments that, when someone is gone, suddenly become some of the most precious memories you have. Trevor was most definitely one of those people.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Trevor’s family, friends and everyone who knew and loved him at this incredibly difficult time.
Rest in peace, Trevor.

You’ll be greatly missed, mate, but you certainly won’t ever be forgotten.

We’re absolutely delighted to announce that Boringdon Arms has once again been selected for inclusion in CAMRA’s Good B**r Guide – this time for the 2027 edition! 🎉🍺

Out of more than 50,000 pubs across Britain, only around 4,500 make it into the Guide, with pubs selected independently by local CAMRA members for the quality and consistency of their real ale.

Following our inclusion in the 2026 edition, being recognised again for 2027 means a huge amount to us. It reflects the hard work that goes into looking after our cellar, keeping our ales in top condition and serving a great pint every single day.

A huge thank you to Paul Jago from Turnchapel for his incredible work transforming our old redundant doors into something rather special! 🎨👏

Rather than leaving these unused doors as a blank space, Paul has painstakingly hand-painted our Boringdon Arms crest directly onto them, creating a fantastic new feature at the front of the pub.

The amount of skill, patience and attention to detail that’s gone into this is impressive, and we couldn’t be happier with the finished result.

A brilliant way to give these old doors a new lease of life while celebrating a little bit of the Boringdon Arms’ identity and heritage.
