On Thursday I had the pleasure of catering for a local company's summer party, and what a wonderful celebration it was!

This wasn't just about serving delicious Colombian food โ€“ I also had the opportunity to teach everyone how to make their own empanadas! ๐ŸŒฝ๐ŸฅŸ I absolutely loved seeing everyone get involved, having fun and discovering that making empanadas isn't as difficult as they thought. Best of all... there was no waste because they all did such a fantastic job! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ˜„

A huge thank you to Chris and Ana Metcalfe for inviting me to be part of your summer celebration. It was a real privilege. Knowing Chris through parkrun and having welcomed them to my Colombian dinner parties before made the event even more special. Thank you for inviting us to stay afterwards for drinks, dancing and ending the day around a cosy bonfire. It was the perfect finish to a wonderful day ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿฅ‚๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿพ

Seeing the staff enjoying the food with their families was such a joy, especially watching the children coming back for seconds (or happily helping themselves to Mum and Dad's food! ๐Ÿ˜‚). Nothing makes me happier than seeing people of all ages enjoying Colombian cuisine.

Last Sunday I had the pleasure of returning to Julie Chandler's home in Paddock Wood to cater for the final celebration of her daughter Kerry's 40th birthday. ๐ŸŽ‚๐ŸŽˆ
This was the fourth time I've had the privilege of catering for Julie and her family, and over the years they've also joined me at my Colombian dinner parties and Friday lunches. ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’™โค๏ธ

The timing couldn't have been more interesting! While Tunbridge Wells was dealing with the unexpected water shortage, Paddock Wood had no such problems... thankfully! ๐Ÿ˜… All the cooking was done in Julie's kitchen, and everything went smoothly from start to finish.

Most importantly, everyone enjoyed the food, and it was the perfect way to round off Kerry's milestone birthday celebrations ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ด๐Ÿฅ˜๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿพ

Another fantastic Colombian dinner party filled with delicious food, amazing people, and the best atmosphere! We welcomed lots of fellow Colombians alongside guests from England, Spain, Mexico, and Italy โ€“ all coming together to enjoy great food, music, dancing and, of course... football! ๐Ÿคฃโšฝ๏ธ

Watching ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ beat ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ด 2-1 was the icing on the cake! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ It would have been the perfect night if Switzerland had knocked Argentina out too... but we can't have everything! ๐Ÿคฃ
