๐๐จ๐ด What a fantastic event! ๐จ๐ด๐ฅ
On Thursday I had the pleasure of catering for a local company's summer party, and what a wonderful celebration it was!
This wasn't just about serving delicious Colombian food โ I also had the opportunity to teach everyone how to make their own empanadas! ๐ฝ๐ฅ I absolutely loved seeing everyone get involved, having fun and discovering that making empanadas isn't as difficult as they thought. Best of all... there was no waste because they all did such a fantastic job! ๐๐พ๐
A huge thank you to Chris and Ana Metcalfe for inviting me to be part of your summer celebration. It was a real privilege. Knowing Chris through parkrun and having welcomed them to my Colombian dinner parties before made the event even more special. Thank you for inviting us to stay afterwards for drinks, dancing and ending the day around a cosy bonfire. It was the perfect finish to a wonderful day ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐พ
A very special thank you to my incredible children, James and Gabriela. As always, you worked so hard and made me incredibly proud. We make an amazing team! ๐ช๐พโค๏ธ
Seeing the staff enjoying the food with their families was such a joy, especially watching the children coming back for seconds (or happily helping themselves to Mum and Dad's food! ๐). Nothing makes me happier than seeing people of all ages enjoying Colombian cuisine.

๐ด I'm now taking a well-earned two-week annual break, so there won't be a dinner party in August.
