Last Saturday, we were delighted to receive an incredible donation from the outgoing Chair of Carmarthenshire County Council, Cllr Dot Jones, who chose Blood Bikes Wales as her Charity of the Year.
Throughout her year in office, Cllr Jones worked tirelessly to raise funds and awareness for our charity, and we are absolutely thrilled to announce that her efforts have resulted in an astounding total of£3,601.00 being donated to support our work.
As a charity that is entirely volunteer-run and receives no government funding, donations like this make a real difference. They help us keep our motorcycles on the road, fuel in the tanks, and our free service to the NHS operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Cllr Jones for her support, dedication and commitment throughout the year, as well as to everyone across Carmarthenshire who contributed to this fantastic fundraising effort.
