The Alverton is a four silver star hotel, bar and brasserie with private gardens situated right at the heart of the beautiful Cathedral City of Truro, Cornwall. Stood on its hillside setting since 1880 within the Cornish city of Truro it was a convent for many years and has now been converted in to a country house hotel within walking distance of the cities amenities. Described today as a quintessentially English Grade II listed building it boasts arched Mullioned windows, Delabole slate roof and high sandstone walls, and is perfect for exploring the north and south coasts which are only a short drive away.
