We are a Farm Shop, Tea Room and Nursery based in Idless, just outside Truro. Our quirky Farm Shop and Tea Room has a cosy feel with besoke handcrafted furniture fixture and fittings using bits of tree and wood found on our farm. Our wany edged wooden shelves line the walls displaying and celebrating Cornish produce. Jams, pickles and chutneys, home produced cordial. Locally produced eggs, Cornish

cheeses, bread and cakes. We will also sell plants, and when the season is right, logs, coal, Christmas trees and holly wreaths. Our aim is simple; to support local communities, promote Cornish produce and reduce food miles.

A cream tea enjoyed in the peaceful tranquility of Cows and Sows.

Homemade scones, homemade strawberry jam and proper Roddas clotted cream, with a lovely hot pot of tea served in our best and oddest China.

Well, we have just done Boconnoc Steam Fair and West of England Steam Engine Society Rally with the help of our family and friends to open at home with Cows and Sows .
And we had a wonderful time on both, meeting all our old friends and also making new ones.

Now open at home Wednesday 19th August.

Light lunches available with, Tea, Coffee, Hot Chocolate and Cake 🍰☕🍵🥰🦉

Cooked pastys cold and frozen to take home on offer for £3.00 while stocks last.

Come and enjoy a sit down in our Inside out Tea room and have a little relax.

We have workshops, on the 29th August.

We are very excited to be setting up at Stithians Show Ground for West of England Steam Engine Society Rally. This is our 10th WESES, where has the time gone!!

Unfortunately, due to staff shortages we have had to change our opening times at the farm.

Friday - closed
Saturday open 11 - 3pm (ish)
Sunday - closed
On Saturday we will only be serving cake, drinks and ice cream.

We will resume normal opening hours from Wednesday next week!

We are over here at Cows and Sows getting ready for our fun Charity weekend for Ravenswell, starting at 11.00am tomorrow, Saturday 25th July and again on Sunday.

Today we will be open from 2.00ish for Drinks, Ice cream and Cake 🍰☕🍰🍦☕🦉🦉🦉

Come and visit us over the weekend and enjoy the lovely countryside with a visit to the Owls, with a cup of tea and Ice cream. ☺️
