Seven Restaurants in Ten Hours… STUFFED.

1. Kicking off the day at CARAVAN with their Jalapeño Cornbread with Egg & Chorizo.

2. Doughnuts to follow from BREADAHEAD. A must when visiting London. The Crème Brûlée is the one - the caramelised sugar balances the sweetness of the doughnut so well.

3. Coqfighter and their “Laksa Butter” wings are TOP TIER. Dying to visit properly and have a full-on feast! We also tried their “Korean BBQ” wings, which were lovely.

4. Next up was FOWL. Having seen so much of their content online, the expectations were high - and they were met and exceeded. An amazing restaurant.

5. Detroit Pizza Spitalfields was recommended by a good friend. Proper Detroit-style pies. Everything you want from a good pizza - pillowy dough, herby tomato sauce, punchy cured meats and plenty of cheese. Great work.

6. We’ve wanted to try Daves Hot Chicken UK & Ireland for a while. Unlike the majority of American fast-food chains, Dave’s has been highly recommended by our customers. We got a Medium Heat Slider with Dave’s Signature Sauce. Rated this one highly - the signature sauce was actually very similar to our Wing Slade sauce! Great level of spice and everything tasted fresh.

7. Saving the best until last… SPEEDBOAT BAR. We were told this had to be at the top of our priority list and to order #20 - the Crispy Pork Curry. The flavours were wild. Going back ASAP. B**r in frosted glasses - extra point!

Seven restaurants. Ten hours. Absolutely stuffed.

London, you’ve done us.

28 days. Chicken every day. No excuses.

After watching documentary on fried chicken and what it does to your body, I thought I had to see for myself.

I’ll eat chicken from my own shop for 28 days while still training and living normally.
