♥️ One final farewell ♥️
Well, the day has finally arrived. After many years of laughter, memories, good times, late nights and very early mornings, the sale of the pub has completed today and it’s time for us to say a proper farewell.
This place has been such a huge part of our lives. It has been so much more than just a pub. It has been a place where locals have met, friendships have been made, celebrations have been shared and memories have been created.
We've welcomed so many wonderful people through the doors over the years, from our lovely local customers who became familiar faces and friends, to holiday makers who stopped by and became part of the pub family.
We also want to say a huge thank you to all the staff who have worked with us over the years. So many people have played their part in making the pub what it has been, and we will always be grateful for the hard work, laughs and memories we've shared.
And of course, there are some people who have become so much more than staff. Nia and Owen, you both know how much you mean to us. You have become part of our family, and we really can't thank you enough for everything over the years. You will always have a very special place in our hearts.
The support from the local community over the years has meant more than we can ever put into words. Thank you to everyone who has supported us, popped in for a drink, joined us for an event, recommended us to others or simply came through the door and made the pub what it was.
We'd also like to wish Kevin and Catryn the very best of luck as they start this exciting new chapter.
We genuinely can't wait to come back, have a drink and see what you do with the place.
And having already seen what you've done with the grapes, we have a feeling there are going to be some very exciting times ahead!
