This is a very very hard post to make.
Callum you will be so missed! By so many you meet, knew and crossed paths with.
From my those dizzy days in Donnington as RMP with to watching you thrive in the as a CSM and being an incredible drummer. (Audio in back ground is Callum with a piper 🥁)
I’m so sorry those demons won the battle! Rest in Peace mate. You will be sorely missed by so many.

What an event!
My team have done amazing things while I’ve been ‘busy’ back at BHLHC HQ this week.

Wow! Not coffee related but today is a day to celebrate….
We have welcomed into the world this very fine morning our stunning little princess Elowen Marianne Neale.
Mum and baby are doing amazing, as I sit at home and reflect on so many very emotional ties to our boys, dates, names etc etc and also it just feel so right to be on cloud nine and get home to have a ‘little’ dram now the dust has settled and I’m in a quiet space for 5 mins….
But adding into it my beloved winning the too…. What a 12 hours I’ve had.

The stage is set, the team are in place… let the coffee printing begin. Really excited for this one with our new coffee ...

Just a random Saturday post…. This picture is just some containers right?
A little reflection on where we’ve come from, where we are now and what it’s going to look like as we progress..
Our very first event was a 40 cup local market…. I was absolutely stoked! Buzzin’, tired, flapped a little….
This photo shows 4 containers which hold 40kg of our roasted coffee and two containers of about 1000 tea bags from the best
This isn’t a 6 month supply or even a month supply…. This is for a 4 day event we are facilitating next week! 4 DAYS.
On reflection as I sit in the roastery waiting for the rain to pass and the over due arrival of the newest Little hand; it’s sometimes quite hard to actually sit, reflect and realise where we have been, are currently at and where we are headed!
You’ve all been along for the ride and we greatly appreciate everyone who’s followed, had a coffee when we were at a fate or fair, in their own home, at our train station days in Chirstchurch or one of our many many guest from our pop up bar events!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart and keep watching this space cos let’s be honest! We aren’t going anywhere any time soon. But really a 40 KG week is going to be mental.

With gamers, influencers and industry leaders attending for the preview of the hugely anticipated new game….
We had to step it up… and well we of course crushed it.
Pastries from branded by colour matching ice cream from and thecreative mind of who produced Batman Lemonade.
Everything was on point with two bars, branding bars to the (IYKYK) Sun Dollar cups.

We’ve finally had a chance to up grade our wholesale packaging with a re-useable containers.
Now was the perfect time to make a suitable change to bring inline with our reduce, reuse and recycle ethos as the boys have been learning all about it in school so it gave us a perfect opportunity to show a real world change.
Reuben took great joys in adding stickers to the containers and practice his writing (see photo 3 ❤️)
As I always tell people, we are a family business and the boys get involved at every stage.
