Hello👋🌾💛

It's been four months since we started our takeaway pop-up Picnic at the Totnes Civic Hall. We are so grateful for all your support! Arigato! 🙏 Also, a huge thank you to Angus and Angélique (Picnic Angélique Peters) for letting us use your space!🌷🍀🪻

We are open almost every Tuesday. Please check the calendar in the highlights for the schedule. We offer sushi, karaage fried chicken, potato & sweetcorn croquettes, donburi rice bowls, salads, miso soup etc. and Miyu’s Mochi (Miyuki Tokoi MUSUBI ) from 12pm-6pm (cold food from 11:30am). Our next opening is August 25th! See you then!🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️

We are so happy to have the opportunity to share a meal with you at the cultural event “Bunka Japan” 🍱🥢

We’ll be cooking the sharing meal on Saturday, August 8th, from 6:00 PM (doors open at 5:45 PM) to 7:15 PM.

At Moore Imagination Centre on Backfast Street.

Tickets are available via the QR code on the poster.

The event runs from noon to 10:00 PM, offering a variety of Japanese cultural experiences including workshops, performances, music, tea ceremonies, storytelling, Onigiri rice balls and cakes! 😋

Hello everyone 👋 Since Taguchi-Ya canteen is closed, we’ve been slowly moving forward, taking challenges and learning along the way.

This Tuesday April 21st, Angelique and Angus kindly let us use their shop for a pop-up takeaway event. There’ll be Domburi rice bowls, side salads, miso soup, etc. Please stop by for your lunch, snack or dinner takeaway! 12-6pm or until sold out. See you there! Yoshi🙏🌾
