Sadly, we have to share that a commissioned piece of stonework, created for a family event, has been seriously damaged.
This was a valued piece of work, and the reckless damage caused has left us extremely upset. The cost of repairs is likely to be in the hundreds, if not thousands, of pounds. This is not something we ever expected to happen here, and we are devastated to see it destroyed.
A tree protector in place to stop wild rabbits damaging plants has been ripped off & torn apart.
We are aware that parents know who the children involved are. We ask that they now do the right thing and come forward to take responsibility and offer to rectify the damage.
Those responsible are not welcome back.
We have always wanted this to be an open space for children to play and enjoy but wilful damage of this nature is unacceptable.
It saddens us to have to make a post like this. We know that our usual customers and families are respectful of this space.
