Every day we’re seeing more and more big corporate companies releasing new vegan products and it’s so exciting to see our ethical lifestyle becoming mainstream. Please don’t forget us little guys though, the independents who were brave enough to step out and offer something different way before it was cool and trendy. We can’t always offer the rock bottom prices of companies big enough to get ingredients at knock down prices, we may have to close our shops for the day if our children are sick, or dash off early for a dentist appointment, but we can offer freshly made produce straight from our kitchens not a conveyer belt, we can offer friendship and community, uniqueness, and by buying local we keep your money in the same area as you. We appreciate our customers more than you would ever realise, because everyone who walks through the door and makes a purchase gets us one step closer to making the monthly bills. There’s no big shareholders throwing money in to keep us open, we’re literally here because of you and the day you leave us is the day our dream dies and our doors close. So please celebrate the changing times and watching the doorway to the mainstream crack open, it’s what we all want, but please don’t forget us indie businesses who were serving vegans before any of the big guys wanted to. We need you still ❤️
