There is something deeply rewarding about knowing exactly where an ingredient begins its journey.

We are proud to announce that The Marula Tree has now been granted our licence to purchase seafood directly from local fishermen and fishing boats.

For us, this is more than provenance—it's a commitment to the waters that surround us, the people who work them, and a food philosophy built on seasonality, sustainability and respect for every ingredient.

By sourcing directly from the day's catch, we can celebrate the finest Cornish seafood at its absolute best, often just hours after it has left the sea.
Paired with our foraged coastal herbs, wild seaweeds and the exceptional produce of our local growers, every dish tells the story of this remarkable coastline.

A deeper connection to our coastline, our community, and the ingredients that define our cuisine. We look forward to sharing that journey with you.

We're delighted to announce that planning permission has officially been granted for our new outdoor seating area at the front of the restaurant!
We're so excited to be able to share our plans with you.
We hope to complete before Next Summer.
Our vision is to create a relaxed outdoor space where you can enjoy small plates, nibbles, drinks and cocktails throughout the day—the perfect place to catch up with friends, enjoy a light lunch or simply soak up the sunshine.

❄️ Keeping Cool This Summer ❄️
With the recent heatwave, we're also pleased to let everyone know that we've now installed air conditioning throughout the restaurant, making it a cool and comfortable place to enjoy your meal, whatever the weather is doing outside!
