The Kent Brewery’s Single Hop Series has hit a rather tasty milestone: 50 beers!

To celebrate, they’ve taken the five highest-rated beers in the series on Untappd and combined those five single-hop recipes into one beer.

The result? Five Hop - five of their best-performing hops, all in one pint. 🌿🍻

The long wait is finally over. What better way to get the new season underway than with the Premier League champions Arsenal taking on newly promoted Coventry City? 🔴🔵

We'll be showing the season opener on at least 4 screens, both inside and outside, so wherever you're sitting, you won't miss the action.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Emma Cole.

Emma was the devoted partner of Matthew Rudd, mother to Ella, Connie & Seth, and a much-loved friend to so many.

Emma worked alongside Matthew throughout their lives, building thriving community pubs together. As the owners of The Nelson Arms, Matthew has always had Emma by his side, and she was the face behind the scenes of the Nelly - dedicating so much of her time, care and heart to the pub and its community.

Please join us in celebrating Emma’s life on Wednesday 19th August at 1pm at Kent & Sussex Crematorium. In true Emma spirit, we would love for those coming along to wear bright, bold colours - a reflection of the joy and warmth she brought to so many people.

We’re incredibly excited to be one of the few non-Harvey’s pubs showcasing the brand new collaboration between Harvey’s Brewery and Brighton Bier!

Introducing Brighton Bier South Coast IPA — a much-loved Sussex beer brought back to life, brewed at Harvey’s with Brighton Bier founder Gary Sillence. A hop-forward cask ale with bright citrus character, this is a proper treat for fans of modern British brewing.

A little bit of Sussex brewing history, a little bit of something new, and a very limited chance to try it outside the usual Harvey’s heartland.
